Fire Blankets

Fire extinguishers aren’t the only fire protection entities with a wide variety of different uses. Fire blankets also come in an array of materials, thicknesses, and sizes, and are utilised within numerous industries.

Under the European standard for fire blankets, it was recently revised and stated that all fire blankets should possess the ability to extinguish both a cooking oil fire, and a flammable liquid fire; meaning that the blanket must be flexible with excellent draping qualities to allow it to eliminate oxygen from the burning oil, and also to allow the oil to naturally come to a lower temperature.

We use and supply JacTone Fire Blankets as standard, as they are a well-respected name within the industry, and have undergone rigorous testing. They are available in a rigid hard plastic holder, and a soft red material holder, both of which come in a variety of sizes, and we also supply a square fire blanket pack which is ideal where space may be an issue.
